Steakhouse 55, located inside the Disneyland Hotel at the Disneyland Resort is one of the more upscale restaurants located at Disneyland. Dinner is great...but what about Breakfast???? Let's get to it!!

Believe it or not, Steakhouse 55 offers breakfast and while the menu is somewhat limited, it's DELICIOUS! It's definitely NOT your typical breakfast servings that you would find at a chain restaurant. Again, it's Upscale Disney and they offer only the best...

On the menu here, expect to find Steak and Eggs for example, Chicken and Waffles, Chilaquiles, to name a few....All sound typical but definitely NOT typical. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, wasn't what I had expected and it was very filling! My wife ordered the Chilaquiles, they pack a punch!

A few points from my previous Steakhouse 55 review...

Service - SPOT ON! All the staff were very attentive to all the tables. Clearing as needed and quickly. All were very friendly.

Atmosphere - This is definitely NOT your typical Disney restaurant. There are no mickeys or donalds anywhere. The restaurant is very calm, low lit, and pictures of Walt Disney and celebrities. It is a very high-end restaurant.

Price - Get ready for Sticker Shock!!! This is a place you HAVE to plan to go to. You can't just show up and decide you want to eat there. 1) Reservations are recommended for all table service restaurants, walk ups are accepted based on availability. Oddly enough, breakfast here is not packed however, I'm not sure if there is a smaller cap for breakfast. Call ahead just to be on the safe side. 2) you seriously need to expect to spend a huge chunk of change on your meal. The highest price item is the Steak and Eggs at $25 while the lowest is $14. The breakfast servings are filling enough but there are a few items available a-la-carte. For a party of two, expect to pay anywhere between $100 to $150...Is it worth it? For a rare once in a while treat...ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Dress Code - There is no dress code for this restaurant or any of the Disney restaurants for that matter. Despite the fact that this is a classy restaurant, people still come in their theme park attire and some do actually dress for the occasion. Depending on why and who, dress to impress or whatever makes you feel comfortable. Keep it classy though.

Parking - Parking options at the Disneyland Resort have changed! You now have only 2 options when it comes to parking for Steakhouse 55...You can park at Disneyland Hotel that comes with 3 hours free with validation...or you can park at Disneyland for $20 (free for Signature Pass Holders) and not worry about time constraints. Downtown Disney doesn't accept validation from the Hotel restaurants.

Park Admission - No Park Admission is needed. This restaurant is located outside the gates of Disneyland, inside the hotel.

Final Thoughts...Yes, it's expensive. Once you are on that Disney property everything is expensive. It's up to you to decide what you are in the mood for and what you are willing to pay. Are you willing to spend about $100 for breakfast? If you want to cross this off your bucket list, experience something different, feel like having something out of the ordinary, or just want a peaceful and tranquil breakfast, THEN this is the place. If you are looking for breakfast to feed your family, especially on a budget, this will not be the place. If you want a unique place to feed your family, GO FOR IT!!!!

While staying at Disneyland, we celebrated our wedding anniversary here. All of the food was delicious. Our waiter, Nick, was very attentive. He surprised us with a yummy chocolate mousse dessert to celebrate our anniversary.

The meal was terrible both steaks were dry; one was suppose to be med-rare...over cooked and dry. The green beans had no flavor. The waitress was seen on occasion. Ruth's Chris Steak house is only a few blocks away!

Such a nice setting in the Disneyland Hotel. You can get a really quality breakfast at a price of what you would pay inside the parks for something not quite as good. Love the decor and the attention to detail.

Great service, they have good coffee. I had the eggs benedict-predictably excellent. Need to stop back in next time for a great steak.
