Service was wonderful, food was plentiful! We had shrimp, fries and gumbo, all were well seasoned. It's a fun place to eat, tho quite noisy. Again, the service was great!

Holy mother of God, has the She-Bang Medium always been this spicy? I've been to several other Boiling Crab locations in and around the San Gabriel Valley and never recalled it being this spicy. Well, 'spicy' is relatively subjective but I sweat up a storm, dining here on Sunday.

So the sister was visiting from the crotch of California, that's Fresno for the uninformed. She had a craving for Boiling Crab so we made and effort to drop by before she head home. You'd figured that coming around 3pm would beat the usual rush hour. You'd be completely wrong! Rush hour at BC starts at 11am, when the open, and ends when they close at 10pm. As such, we ended up waiting for 1 1/2 hours. Wasn't too bad, gave us a chance to show the little sister the wedding venue and picked up some Banh Mi and Che (located a block a way) for the ride back home.

We ended up with 2lbs of Clams, 2lbs of Crabs, 1lb of Sausage and 3 corns on a cob. More than enough food for the 3 of us and in the ended, there was a struggle to finish the food. The fiancé and sister are both weak links when it comes to eating.

This BC seems to be bigger than the one on Main St. in Alhambra which is nice since they can accommodate more people but on the flip side, the shaded waiting area is much smaller. I hope you like standing in the sun!

So this place gets really busy for a reason. They're food is awesome! Expect to wait long to get a table with a group. During the week and before 5 pm it's actually better, minimal to no wait. Weekends you can forget it, it's that busy. It's busy because you don't eat with utensils. Everything there you eat with your hands which can be quit messy but that's why you wear a bit. It's simple, you pick what you want such as crawfish or shrimp, you pick the flavor (spices) you want. I recommend the "whole shebang" if you aren't sure of what you want. It's very popular and it's a lil bit of everything. The last step, you pick how spicy you want your catch. They bring your catch in a bag when ready and you eat from the bag. The tables are lined with paper. You can also pick sides like gumbo or corn on the cob. We ordered the Cajun fries. The wait is a nuisance but the food makes it worth the wait! Must try..

More and more cajun seafood restaurants are popping up but the boiling crab is one of the original. The food is delicious but messy. If you have a large party, they will not sit you unless all parties are present.

First time at this location having tried the one on Valley and the other on Rowland Heights. It is a highlight of our trips back home to the SG Valley. This one is really small and the wait is just what we expected.
Improvements might be: provide a place to wash hands that doesn't involve queuing up for the one toilet/sink combo restroom, and how about drinks on the patio while waiting. Business would boom!
