We have stayed a couple different times for a month at a time. The complaint we hear a lot (and we feel this way also): the staff in the office needs training! When we call to make reservations something always ends up screwed up. Or you get a different answer depending on who you talk to. Make sure to document everything you discuss on the phone and the name if the person you talked to! You should get email confirmation, read over it carefully! The ladies in the office are friendly but not much for computer skills!

We haven't stayed at to many RV parks. When we travel and stay for long periods to explore, we like some comforts. My wife and I were quite impressed with the park. A nice pool with waterfall. Nicely equipped workout room and activities room. It had rooms to accommodate guests. Located within easy access to places we were interested in. We stayed at Meridian at the end of the season. Many of the snowbirds had or were leaving during our stay. We could see why many called this their winter home!

We just spent our second season there and will say it was great , good enough so I decided I will go yearly and just leave my RV there , the rates are reasonable the location is great close to shopping and close enough to Tempe , Scottsdale, Phoenix so you can take in all that the cities have to offer . The staff there are so helpful they really care and go out of the way to assist you.
We made lost of new friends and found lots of activities on site to keep us busy, had another great year of delicious meals this year was by Chef Bruce.
SO if you are looking for a place where everyone knows your name and make you feel like family you will not find a better place then Meridian it is small enough so you do get to know everyone and are always welcomed to stop in at their site and say Hello, If you do get to stay there drop y and give us a hello.

Being first time Rv'ers from California we were delighted to find this small RV park which only allows RV's.... Great amenities, very dog friendly, very friendly and helpful staff...lots of activities to engage in without leaving the park... Great shopping within close proximity. We have extended our stay twice now and may do so again....Will definitely return on our next travel adventure.

The Meridian is a great RV park. This is a smaller park than the huge parks you see around this area. No park models or mobile homes in this park which we appreciate.
Our first visit here was just a week, the second time we came for three weeks and for the last two winters we have booked three months. I am sure you can tell we really like it here.
The park sponsors a lot of activities but the residents do a lot of activities themselves which is nice. People can be as active or inactive as they wish, I encourage you to look at their calendar on their website.
We have especially enjoyed the wonderful people we have met here and maintain contact with several of them the entire year.
The downside is your dog, if you have one, will probably get diarrhea picked up at the dog park but this is pretty common so we always get a Rx from our vet, once she gets over it we don't have any more problems. There are four dog parks so plenty of space and it really is pretty dog and cat friendly but you always have people who complain.
While we are on complaints I have to say that the management does pretty good at handling the guests (you can't make everyone happy all of the time) but perhaps should at times just explain to chronic complainers that their concerns have been heard but the rules and activities are for the entire park and leave it at that.
Bottom line if you are looking for an active adult park to spend a week or the winter in, this is a great place to start.
