When you enter the building it takes your breath away. It is beautiful! HOWEVER, it totally misleads you to believe that the room will rise to the same standards. In the room I had to hold my breath because there was an overwhelming musty smell in two of the three rooms that were presented to me. After a day or so the third and final room began to have a hint of the same musty moldy smell
The manager Salim Achenani, along with the waitress named Do in the restaurant were TOP NOTCH along with a host of other hotel staff whose names I cant recall were GREAT. Salim gave us a reasonable room credit and that made things much better. I would never stay there again, but I would visit the restaurant and say hello to the manager and his great support staff that work there.

Good hotel poor food choices. I dined in the hotel on the first night. What I ordered on the menu was not what I received per the menu description. Food choices in the gift shop were limited. I tried a piece of cake that was dry and seemed to have been there awhile.

This hotel has an excellent location and the customer service was incredible. I would stay here again on my next trip to Washington D.C.I had breakfast in the restaurant and the service was absolutely wonderful

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Rooms are little dated compared to the rest of the hotel but clean and functional. Overnight parking is quite expensive ($62/night) but probably comparable to hotels nearby. Good access to DC monuments and other points of interest.

The Hyatt Regency on Capital Hill is great hotel for leisure and business. It is very close to Union Station and various transportation options. The amenities are very nice especially the work out area including the pool. It is easy to access the various levels in the hotel and the elevators worked well. All staff was really accommodating. It was a pleasure.
