This is an excellent location for business or tourism. Very close to a metro stop, so extremely convenient. Hotel is typical Residence Inn with kitchen and space to spread out. Free breakfast and dinner are a really nice touch. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Also has the option of no room servicing, which is nice if you aren’t needing it and don’t want to have to put things away. Rooms are clean and up to date. I was upgraded and the room had an exquisite view of the Capitol!

Only negative is the meal offerings tend to be a bit sparse, and every time I went there were lots of people so they had run out of some of the options.

We had a massive room, it had 2 double beds and in the lounge was a bed setee, where our son slept. A tv in the bedroom and the lounge and a well equipped kitchenette with a microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The cleaning staff set that off each day when the room was cleaned. Breakfast was included, usually scrambled eggs, some sort of meat. Bacon, sausage patties etc, fruit, cereal, yogurt and waffles. There’s plenty of seating, but when it was busy quite a queue could build up and we often had to wait for things to be refilled. The location is excellent, a 15 min walk to the mall and the museums. We mostly walked, or used local buses or taxis to get about. The main downside for me was the bed, it was really hard! I woke up with back ache everyday! Also there are only lights in the middle of the 2 double beds so it was really hard to read in bed! We ended up laying on each bed to read and then getting into one bed to go to Sleep! The swimming pool is ok, quite small and there’s a jacuzzi, but no changing area! So you end up going back to the room in the lift with a towel wrapped round!

We were chased out of the South by a hurricane, so we spend the remaining days of our vacation in DC. We received a nice upgrade upon arrival due to our rewards status. The room was spotless and comfortable. Pool area was a hit for the kids, and the outdoor patio was great for an easy dinner.

Breakfast area staff were a bit slow to restock and respond to guest requests. It seems like there was a lot of time spent in the back and not enough time spent helping guests. Many trays were often empty.

Hotel was a perfect stepping off point for touring. Bike share station right around the corner which makes getting around even easier.

Yasmina was a great help during our stay!

Chose this hotel based on reviews and was not disappointed. 15 mins from the airport, central location; great helpful staff and pleasant accommodation. Our 1 bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. Standard options at breakfast. They have a large breakfast area so it did not feel crowded. Did not do parking and walked or took Uber most places. Also found it convenient to visit my Godson at Howard University. Will definitely stay here again.

My room was very spacious with all the amenities of a Residence Inn. Stove, full refrigerator, utensils, etc. Really nice rooms, but the view was as shown in picture. Office workers looking directly into the room and my view was of those offices 20 feet away. Was hoping my Platinum Premier would have earned me a better room view with the limited amount of people staying here.
Very typical free breakfast, same in DC as it is in little Conyers GA. The parking garage is $40 a day. What is terrible is the clearance space. Even in a small vehicle, getting past the kiosk I had less than 8 inches on both sides. The paint scratches on the wall were proof of that and the narrow passages would have been nearly impossible if there were any other vehicles moving in there at the time. Completely forget parking here with a full size car or truck
