Interesting in terms of the depiction of FDR. A unique place well worth the walk-through.

“A great place to learn about President Roosevelt”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

The memorial highlights the physical handicap that this president overcame. The memorial is well thought out and the presentation is excellent. Out of the way but worth the walk!

“Don't Go at Night!”

We visited this at night and were dissappointed. Perhaps it is better during the day.

“Excellent use of outside space.”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

This memorial is a sobering and well-planned picture of life in the depression era. The path you take is a walk through history.

“Visit this attraction by starlight"”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

Our business meeting included the night tour of the District of Columbia and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk through this Memorial. Did you know Eleanor Roosevelt is the only female statue (other than Sacajawea) in the district? The night tour is less tiring than the heat of the day and your guides are well informed. Bring your night camera so you can capture a photo of the Washington Monument by moonlight. Several of us were moved to tears by this thoughtful representation of a significant period in our country's history. Be ready to hear dozens of other languages being spoken by visitors. This is a cosmopolitan area.
