I visited Trinidad with my boyfriend last week. We stayed at Casa Colonial 1830 for 2 nights (because the 3rd one the house was fully booked!) and had a wonderful stay. Since the very first minute, Yosvaldo the owner was extremely helpful, patient and attentive, helping us out with booking transportation from Habana and many other questions before our arrival. Once there, he even helped us find another (also lovely) house just down the street for our 3rd night.

The house is beautiful, right in the historic center, just a 5 minute walk of the Plaza Mayor. The views from the rooftop are breathtaking, specially at sunset. The room was simple (it is a Colonial house) but charming and clean. The private bathroom was also nice (its not too common to have a private bathroom in these areas!). The breakfast that Yosvaldo, his wife and brother prepared for us daily was delicious.

Im already recommending this place to all my friends, and can't wait to be back again.

This lovely old colonial building from 1830 is in an excellent location within a 5 minute walk of the main square in Trinidad. Rooms are basic but clean, although running water could sometimes be an issue (this is rural Cuba after all). The host was friendly and helpful (even organizing a taxi collectivo to Havana for me), and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor had access to a rooftop area with great views.

Thank you for your charisma, thank you for visiting us, thank you for your impression. Reciprocal with you our family spent nice days with your visit. There is nothing more comfortable than to feel like family when you have guests!
That is the value that is given to a vacation, contact with the settlers, historical and natural sites.
From Trinidad city museum to the caribbean sea!

We spent 3 nights here. The room was simple but clean and comfortable and the en suite bathroom was a good size: the water flow was a bit slow. The main public room was full of character and cool with its high ceiling. Breakfast was lavish and delicious, and we had excellent and reasonably priced lobster for dinner one night, with live piano accompaniment. The Casa is conveniently located for visiting the rest of the town. Yosvaldo and the rest of the staff were very helpful and put up with our very limited Spanish. All in all we thought the Casa was excellent value.

We stayed at Casa Colonial 1830 for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. The owner Yosvaldo, his wife Lilly were great host along with Yosvaldo's brother and their staff. If you stay here make sure you ask Yosvaldo the story of this great casa and his Grandmother. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooftop terrace has a great view over the city The breakfast is large and very good and Yosvaldo makes a very good Cuban sandwich for lunch. We didn't have the pleasure of eating dinner there but I'm sure it is fantastic. Yosvaldo was very helpful in getting us a taxi to take us to the beach and also to Cienfuegos. If we ever make it back to Trinidad we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: bring ear plugs if you don't want to hear the rooster early in the morning

We had a great stay at the Casa with owner meeting us as we arrive. Great interior and rooms. Fantastic views all over town and the coast from their roof top.
Very helpful with information and my request for a guide.
Close access to bus and the location is in the inter ring of town so close to all major sites.

Thanks for a wonderful stay.
