We stayed here for 3 nights in the penthouse apartment. Firstly the good - the view wonderful, the kitchen is very well equipped and a 'real' fridge. The wardrobe area is huge, lots of racks and hanging space, mirrors, lights all great. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was nice. The laundry is great, and included for some to share - check out which ones do. One washing machine, one drier, an ironing board and an iron all in good condition. They even had powder so very generous in that department. It is in a great area, you would need a car to go into the township if you are not up to walking far but it can be done.
The minus - firstly directions to the place are very difficult if you can't get a map or help from I-site first. Make sure you ask the people when you book about going over the one-lane bridge etc.
The deck we didn't use as it was very windy and the floor is very basic, perhaps unfinished? There had been a big storm previously and one glass panel from the railing was missing, plenty of warnings given though so not dangerous.
I would think in high summer the heat in the room from the sun might be a bit too hard to take as there are no curtains or blinds on the deck doors and glass panels. Its a bonus if you want to get the washing dry but you need to open the doors for a while to let the heat out if you want to just sit on the couch as it is full on.
The bathroom needs some more thought, the shower whilst adequate is small. Water has good water pressure and is hot. The window is over the sink and the mirror is on the right hand side wall, not a good position for men shaving.
Finally we enjoyed our stay there very much, initially were put off by the heat and no curtains on the glass doors but got used to letting the heat out and by the end we felt very much at home. Note there are quite a few steps up to the penthouse so be aware of that with luggage. The furniture really brings the place down, it's a penthouse and has been furnished with what could be considered someone's stuff they no longer want. The tv is tiny and on a side table as it's the only place one can be connected. You can't watch tv from the couch unless you move it first. If the owner could update a bit if would fit the implied luxury of 'penthouse'. My guess is that each apartment is owned separately and some have hit the mark and some haven't? There is no-one 'onsite' but there is a number for you to call if there are any problems, and yes it is rather impersonal but efficient to have the key in a locked box but it is with everyone else's keys too so ...
