We stayed at Akaroa House for a work trip in March, and felt so lucky to be in such nice surroundings. The house has been done up beautifully throughout, and each bedroom has its own special character. Great outdoor living and views, and Alison even had a wee welcome pack there with good coffee and some other yummies. Would definitely recommend the place if you're able to stay there, whether for work like us or (hopefully) for gatherings of family/friends. It's something special.
