The route was not easy, but not too complicated, it is also suitable for families with younger kids. The place is magic, truly beautiful. I was not too happy with the food - the selection and service were both very good, but all was too spicy and salty, but of course the chef could have a bad day... still, it is a place you will fall in love with!

We have visited the lake and the tourist house during a 16 km trekking tour. The lake is beautiful, big peaks around and the air is very fresh. In the tourist house you can eat and drink. The way to the lake on the yellow track is very easy.

It is hard to describe how beautiful the destination of a hike to Zelene pleso is. Pictures cannot describe the grandness of the mountains when you reach them. The Zelene pleso lake is surrounded by amazing High Tatras peaks and is nicely hidden from civilization by a 3 hour hike foot path. However, you can definitely speed that up a bit and be there in 2 h 20 minutes. As for going down - we made it in 1 h 30 minutes but we were rushing a bit. So do not let the 3 h one way hike scare you. Do bring good shoes, though, as the footpath becomes quite "rocky" 30-40 minutes into the hike.

A very picturesque place in the mountains. The chalet offers good food (especially the "knedlicki"), it stays just by a very, very green lake. Clean (maybe except for the toilets), nice wooden design, and plenty of opportunities to spend a day out in the mountains. The views around are simply stunning, even if it's raining. It's about 3 hours of rather comfortable walk from the Biela Voda car park (I recommend reaching it early in the morning, not later than 8:30 - 9:00 am in the peak season in order to have some space there as the car park is very small), the walk is not that demanding and leads through a beautiful forest.

Chalet Brncalka(Green lake chalet) is one of the most beautiful chalet in High tatras. It is great location and lovely traditional design. I have been there with my clients from different countries and it was always highly appricieted visit. It is also border between Belianske(limestone) Tatras and granite High Tatras. I will recommended to spend at least one night. Great area for wildlife including Chamoas, Wolf, Egles, Brown Bears and paradise for Alpine flowers with many endemics.
