Great experience of this wonderfully preserved piece of history. Brilliantly restored and a must see if visiting Narva. The views across the river into Russia and the Ivangorod fortress are exceptional. 9/10

Nice castle in a superb location. It's really more the location and the view into Russian that makes this place worth a visit than anything else. Its a easy walk from the train station. 15 euro entrance is a little bit expensive feel 10 would be plenty.
The place is nice from the outside, we found the entry fee to be too steep. We thought it was not worth it.
The castle is absolutely worth the visit! Not much is saved from ancient times due to the border land status and the frequent wars, but the castle has been rebuilt with care, the views to the opposing russian fort are great and the audiovisual show is entertaining and educating for young and old.

Very impressive. You can walk through an ancient building the way its inhabitants did hundreds of years ago. Over the river, you can see Russia in a rather near proximity. Be sure to visit the museum and listen to comments of the guide - very informative.
Beautifully renovated with a lot of interactive facilities . Very impressed , a lot to see, informative and entertaining.
