Weekend in Riga

We had a great stay in Radisson Blue Daugava Hotel. The room was clean, big and with the balcony and also with the terrace. We had a lovely view for the river. The breakfast was delicious. Location was good. About 10 min to walk to town. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic City Views

The views were amazing from our room. We had the Daugava river viewing room on the 7th floor. The room was good, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast has not had many options. I wish they had more options on the vegetarian side as well. The menu was kind of the same on all 4 days of our stay there. Avacado toast on the ala carte menu was good.

3 Nights in Riga

An excellent stay in this hotel. I booked a junior suite for our stay and it was fantastic. The room looked over the river towards the Old Town and the view was fantastic day and night. The service was very good in the hotel and both the food we had in the evening and the breakfast was very good. The only flaw was that the restaurant needed to be booked, we were told, prior to our stay, therefore we ordered evening food from the bar.

Not recommended

The view and hotel are nice, but the reception and customer service are not recommended for the price you pay. They forgot not only to put on an extra bed but also to give the same room by mistake to other people. Imagine our surprise when you are almost in bed, and other people come to your room. The reception is very unprofessional, calling us to figure out who checked us in instead of asking each other. I understand mistakes, but it's not our fault. The least you expect staying in Radisson chain hotels. Never again.

business trip to Riga

The hotel reception was very helpful. The room was clean and comfy, but stuffy. It is not possible to air the room as the windows do not open. Location rather far from the city center, but good for business meetings and conferences.
