Although not in the center of Riga it sits on the bank of the main river in Riga on the quiet side. You can discover Riga easily. The hotel itself is clean, modern and the rooms are really nice. Sadly the pool was closed to be refirbished but the quietness of the hotel brought us all the much needed rest.More

Taking safety measures
Front desk staff can be clueless. Queues at check in , as the only counter is open. At the same time the receptionist answers phone calls.
"Rad family world" gift not provided (Children under 12 receive a welcome bag with fun gifts, activities and games for kids to enjoy), although it the only hotel in Latvia that participates in this promo.
Breakfast is great.
Renovated rooms are great.

Great views across to Old Town but rooms dated. The aircon was not working and the amazing room windows that provide such a stunning view also make the room extremely hot on sunny days. The rooms are very large and when refitted will make this an excellent choice.

Rooms haven’t been renovated in 20 years. Feels dirty. The neonlighting in the window is so loud. Shower i filthy and tiles are cracked. Bed is super old and uncomftable. By far the worst hotel I have stayed in. I wouldn’t recomend anyone staying here.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend. We had an absolute ball.
There were 2 adults and 2 children and the hotel room was perfectly set up for us. Everyone had an actual bed which is becoming unheard of.
Room was clean and spacious and beds were super comfortable.
The staff were not the most friendly, though they weren't rude.
Breakfast was great. Eggs of all varieties, bacon, sausage, fresh fruits and vegetables, hams and cheese, fish, various pastries. Variety of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh juices plus gluten free options.
All in all we had an absolutely fabulous time at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful. Whilst it is on the other side of the river to the old town, we walked the bridge or took public transport easily.

Stayed for 1 night on a long layover as wanted a more comfortable hotel than the airport offerings . Very warm welcome on arrival with quick check in . Room was very large but a little on the dated side we must of been in one of the Older style bedrooms however the bed was very comfy . Quick walk over the bridge and you are right in the old town . Would happily stay here again if visiting Riga
