We loved the hotel, it's really good located.
Very spacious rooms, quiet hotel, staff are nice, good value for the price.
A lot of good places to see very near, you have subway really close, some good pubs.
Very recommended.

Stayed: February 2018, travelled as a couple

I stayed two nights in this hotel, a short city break on my own. When one travels on her own, the room tends not to be the best, that happens most of the time. Single travelers probably complain less.
My room was fine, a double room facing the construction site next door, so it was a brisk wake up call at 7 in the morning, but I did not really mind. The thing which bothered me was the very dated decor and stuffy wall-to-wall carpet which made the stay in the room a bit uncomfortable. The tv was good and shower as well. Enjoyed breakfast as well, was plenty for me.
Service is unfortunately still very eastern European style, the staff does their job but without a smile or without friendly words, which most of the time is fine but it really does not make you remember the place or have another drink at the bar.
The distance from the bus and train stations was great and old town was a short stroll away. All in all would definitely stay again as soon as the carpets are thrown out.

Room Tip: There is a huge construction site next door (May 2018), so avoid that side

Stayed here on a short weekend visit to Riga as a tourist. Arrived by bus from the airport in about 20/25 min to the hotel but need to cross the motorway . There was some civil work being done so was not too easy to find the place at night but finally it is quite central .The area is near/in old town and the place is very active all night /early morning . The room was spacious with a nice bath and old fashioned. The breakfast was also good on the lower ground level. Reception was English speaking and helpful and had left luggage. Once can tour most of the spectacular old town by foot and also use the hop on hop tour to see the rest of the city. During the day the place is bustling with shops and touristy places and restaurants

Room Tip: Higher floor with a windows (slanted roofs)

Service and room were all very good. Once inside the lobby you realise how nice the hotel is. Beds were comfortable. Facilities also all there for you and you are just a 5 minute walk from shops and the bars and restaurants. Ideal.

Room Tip: The higher up the better I believe but all decent rooms
