An extensive network of reedbed and shrub with good footpaths/tracks provide a wilderness experience that is a real treat. Marsh harriers patrol the area, I heard a booming bittern, saw a party of penduline tits, heard nightingale and reed warblers amongst an array of other species. There's a beach area where eiders and goosanders were enjoying the sunshine.
It's worth the bus journey from Tallinn, but it's a fair walk from the last stop.
