Nice little visit to old defensive tunnels, with good displays on how they were used for multitude of more recent purposes from civil defence and storage to hangouts for punks and the homeless.

This is an interesting site.
We are a family of 5 adults and 1 four year old.
We only paid to visit the tunnels and enjoyed the history.
The walking and stairs were easy even for the 4 year old.
Be aware that the tunnel is one way in and out. You walk to the end and then turn around and go back the way you came in.
A little pricey but probably worth the fee.

My favorite museum in Tallinn. I recommend the 12 euro ticket, which lets you visit all the museum's parts.

This place was absolutely fantastic. I personally enjoyed the underground tunnels, the history was fantastic and super interesting! There was a lovely walk where you could look out over the city. A lovely cafe in the middle of it meant you could sit with a coffee. The museum was questionable but the children also visiting at the same time seemed to enjoy it!

The Towers & Bastions cover a lot of history in a relatively small space, I think there is something for everyone to appreciate. Most of the history in the towers is focused on the medieval era, but don't neglect the Bastion passages to learn a bit more about the site's role in 20th century history. Also, the views from the top of the towers and even the walls are some of the best in the city!
