Before my trip to Tallinn I tried to find good hotel for 5 nights, but it was not so easy: some hotels wrote to me: “Sorry, but we sold all rooms in period you need”. But a manager of one from these hotels advised to write to MyCity hotel and I got a reservation finally! I got superior room and it was so nice! Not too big but very clean and comfortable, with good bathroom and high speed wifi.
The location of hotel is wonderful really. Just some minutes to Old Town, Viru street etc. And perfect Niguliste church is so close!
Let me say big thanks to all staff, especially beautiful Kelli, receptionist!
Hope, I will come to MyCity hotel again!

Room Tip: You can ask about rooms with Square view. They are sunny

The location is perfect if you like to walk around to a lot of sites...we walked almost everywhere from the hotel. The room was small but clean and very quiet. The breakfast buffet was huge, with a wide variety of bread and cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, juice, pastries, etc. Glad we stayed there.

The ultimate plus of the hotel is its location in the old town. Very convenient yet quite. The hotel itself is ok, but value for money is not very good. Rooms are spacious but a bit out of date (especially the bathroom). A plus is the coffee maker in the room. What we have experienced of not being so good is the breakfast. The variety is limited and it was very hot in the rooms as it is located in the basement with limited air circulation. Overall, if the price was about 25/30% below it would be a good choice

During this hot spell, the a/c was delightful-the best we had in 5 hotels in the Baltics. We upgraded to the superior room (I do wonder about the size of the standard)-which was adequate with a nice bathroom. Pros: room was quiet, very clean, and recently remodeled which we found comfortable. Location is on a quiet street in the old town and close to the shopping area, tourist info center, and St. Nicholas’s Church. Cons: no water provided any day-tap water is drinkable, however a hotel of this class should provide 1 bottle per person per day. Breakfast was nutritional, but the least favorite of our 5 country tour. Choices were basic and food was not tasty. Coffee machine did make cappuccinos, yet the line, at times, was prohibitive. Go to breakfast before 8:30 as dining area became uncomfortably full. Also, oddly, the laundry cart with used linens from rooms was outside of our room the entire 3 day stay. Overall, a great choice for Tallinn, and wi5 some minor changes, this hotel will be competitive with the best of the best.

From the moment we walked through the doors we found ourselves dealing with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

We spent four nights at My City Hotel in June 2018 staying in a superior room with a king-sized bed. The room was spacious and had both plenty of storage space and plenty of seating. It was bright and airy. The bathroom was large with a shower providing piping hot water at a great pressure. Our only minor issue was with the reliability of logging into the internet: joining the network in our room was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was provided and was tasty and plentiful.

Our visit was enhanced by the staff, who were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble to those manning reception: making suggestions for restaurants and more ‘off the beaten path’ places to visit plus phoning a particular attraction to see if it was opening as our stay coincided with a holiday weekend. They were happy to discuss our day with us when we returned in the evening.

Should we find ourselves in Tallinn again we would definitely return.
