We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn! Thank you very much for all the kind words regarding the breakfast and hotel. The von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn is a beautiful hidden gem just on the side of the Old Town!
Our Family rooms are newly renovated making them even more comfortable for the guests and are located in The Carriage House, providing extra privacy and more quiet rooms for family use. In the room there is an air conditioner and the heating can be regulated manually up to everyone' s personal taste. The reception is open 24 hours a day to help with any enquiries.
Our Zen Spa is very popular, therefore we advise everyone to make the reservations prior to arrival to avoid any disappointment. Spa booking is also available at the hotel upon availability! Sorry to hear that you did not have a chance to use the Spa facilities, however I am glad you found the jacuzzi in the room enjoyable!
Thank you for choosing von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn for your stay and we would like to welcome you back at the hotel in the nearest future!

The hotel is just outside the old town, so walkable for most tourists. The lobby of the hotel is in separate building with the dining room and all. The actual hotel rooms are just a bit down the street though. The building is also very nice-looking and clean, the only problem is, when you open the bathroom, you can instantly smell the stagnant water smell pointing something is a bit off. And looking at the walls and floors, either black mold is growing or the linings of tiles have been left uncleaned for quite awhile, but given the smell I would think it's a problem in the design of the shower room. While this is not uncommon in the hotels, given this is on mid-high price range of Tallinn hotels, I've scored it harshly. Otherwise the room size, decorations etc. are quite good value for the money.
Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful room facing the terrace.
These are the rooms you should ask for. The rooms facing the road coud be a bit noisy.
Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is ok.
Locatoin for sightseeing is good. Nearly everything is in walking-distance.
Thank you for reviewing The von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn and sharing your experience with other TripAdvisor readers! Your feedback is very important to us and we highly appreciate it.
I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and loved the room! Some of the rooms are facing the Courtyard side and some are on the street side. Our Courtyard looks like a Winter Wonderland at this season with beautiful Christmas tree and the buildings have been illuminated tastefully! Snow adds the finishing touch! Rooms on the Courtyard side may be more quiet, however in any case of noise disturbance we have earplugs available at the reception free of charge.
Thank you very much for all the kind words regarding the staff. We are blessed with a great team that loves to help and provides great customer service, making us very proud of them! If you would like to be in walking distance to the City Center and feel like home, The von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn is the place to be!
We would like to thank you again for your time and effort for leaving the feedback!
Hope to see you again during your next visit!

Our standard room was small, however, we didn't need more space. From our window we could see the lovely inner court and it was quiet at night since we had quiet neighbours - the walls were like paper. The double bed was not that comfortable.
Breakfast was good and abundant. As the restaurant was already closed at 10 pm, when we asked for a wine bottle opener, the reception staff didn't have one!?
Dear Lotta H,
Thank you very much for sharing your recent stay at von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn with other TripAdvisor readers! All the feedback is very welcome!
We appreciate all the kind words regarding the location, hotel and the breakfast! Our Courtyard is very beautiful all year around. Right now as it is a winter season, we have beautiful Christmas tree in the middle of it and all the buildings are tastefully illuminated. Snow makes it look like a real Winter Wonderland! In the summer we have a water fountain instead of a Christmas tree and tables outside. It is a perfect place to enjoy the sun and morning coffee or glass of fine wine!
We have 4 different room categories: Standard, Zen, Zen Deluxe and Family. As you did not require much extra space, I am glad to hear the Standard room worked well for you. However if you would like to have more luxurious and spacious room, I would advise to choose the Zen Deluxe room. It comes with a jaccuzzi in the room!
I am surprised to hear that you did not find the bed as comfortable. We are using high quality beds and linen in all of the rooms and constantly receive great feedback about it. I do apologize if the bed comfort was not up to your expectations.
Thank you very much for reviewing our hotel and hope to see you soon!

Stackelberg hotel is a place to stay when you go to estonia!
The hotel was very nearly perfect. The room was beautiful and quiet despite being on a main(ish) road, the staff attentive, professional and pleasant, and the location was excellent - close to everything without being in the middle of it. Would not consider staying anywhere else in Tallinn. The only gripe is so very minor it is barely worth mentioning...the heavy blinds didn't cover the entire windows so some light always got in though being mid winter there was really not so much light to worry about!
