Description: Modern Estonian Cuisine in a middle of Medieval Old Town Tallinn

Returning to the same place is always a good recommendation. Chose to eat indoors and found the ambience to be very pleasant and not over-crowded even when full. We have small appetites and I split a 3 course meal over 2 nights with a main one night and a starter and desert the next.

The menu gives a smallish but well balanced choice. My main was a standard "gourmet" burger. It was fine and certainly satisfied the hunger. My wife opted for oven roasted vegetables with mozzarella. In truth this was really oven roasted aubergines, but whilst she is not really a fan of aubergines, the dish was pronounced a hit.

Although I didn't feel the burger was anything special, it appealed to herself and she opted for that the following day. I started off with the Beetroot and Goats Cheese salad. It is a pricey starter but there is a lot of it, it looks spectacular and it is very nice indeed. More beetroot and less pomegranate seed would make it even better. My desert was a selection of Estonian Cheeses. Again the presentation was pleasing and the cheeses were excellent - up on a par with good quality artisan British Cheeses. Service was adequate to good.

Located on the main hub of the Old Town, you might expect this to be a bit of a tourist trap. Not so. It was obvious that this was a popular restaurant with locals and it is certainly a step up from the usual tourist hub eateries. Dine here and you are unlikely to be disappointed.

We each had 2 courses (main and dessert). The food was really tasty and well presented. The only negative would be that the price was quite high compared to other restaurants offering similar quality food. This should be expected in the town centre though. Good food and well recommended.

Situated at the town square the location is perfect for sitting down having a drink or a bit to eat. Food was good, but not great. Not so much to choose from at the menu. Waiters were very busy, and there was some waiting everytime we wanted to get in contact with them. Overall an ok place.

We were delighted by the welcome we received and the humour of our waiter. The food was excellent in parts and good in others. The smoked meat platter was a terrific starter and my wife's duck main was excellent. My game main was well cooked and presented but the sauce was too salty for my taste. Cheese plate was great
We recommend the prosecco with Vanna Tallin cocktail to start the evening

We wanted to book a table at 9pm. The waiter said they were closing at 10pm, so we booked a table at 8.30pm. When we arrived, the table was not set, we finally got paper napkin... The service was pretty long and we did not get a chance to get a dessert, they wanted to close. Do not take reservations if you cannot serve dinner until the end !

We really apologize for the service you got. This type of service is not our standard and we still hope to offer you the best experience. But to make our service better can you please tell the date you were visiting us and maybe you can remember the servant name?
Please accept my sincere apologizes.
