Returning to the same place is always a good recommendation. Chose to eat indoors and found the ambience to be very pleasant and not over-crowded even when full. We have small appetites and I split a 3 course meal over 2 nights with a main one night and a starter and desert the next.
The menu gives a smallish but well balanced choice. My main was a standard "gourmet" burger. It was fine and certainly satisfied the hunger. My wife opted for oven roasted vegetables with mozzarella. In truth this was really oven roasted aubergines, but whilst she is not really a fan of aubergines, the dish was pronounced a hit.
Although I didn't feel the burger was anything special, it appealed to herself and she opted for that the following day. I started off with the Beetroot and Goats Cheese salad. It is a pricey starter but there is a lot of it, it looks spectacular and it is very nice indeed. More beetroot and less pomegranate seed would make it even better. My desert was a selection of Estonian Cheeses. Again the presentation was pleasing and the cheeses were excellent - up on a par with good quality artisan British Cheeses. Service was adequate to good.
Located on the main hub of the Old Town, you might expect this to be a bit of a tourist trap. Not so. It was obvious that this was a popular restaurant with locals and it is certainly a step up from the usual tourist hub eateries. Dine here and you are unlikely to be disappointed.
