As a person who grew up with knowing who Lydia Koidula and Johann V. Jannsen are, it is truly great museum about their life, success and work. But who don't know them, you should visit it anyway - those are the people who made Estonian language as it is today.
This little museum is dedicated to the life and works of estonian national poet and newspaperwoman Lydia Koitula. It provides a good idea of her life and career in late 19th century.
There are informational booklets in several languages, unfortunately though you may get the most out of personal guidance if you know at least a little bit estonian.
When in Pärnu, then I truly suggest to find this perfectly sized museum. Not too small and definitely not too big, just perfect to take you on a short time travel journey:)
