Don't expect amazing food here but if you want variouty and to try something different you can visit here couple times a year. I would expect more sauce and sour cream witch is coming with dumplings. And if you go there in the evening it is much more chance that you'll be disapointed, dumplings there are much better at the lunch time, when they're still fresh, because, I suppose, they are making and cooking dumplings in the morning

We're big lovers of dumplings so this is a great place for us - dumpling paradise! They, of course, offer other meals, too, but we come for koldunai. And they're great. The only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars is because we don't feel WOW effect and the environment is quite simple, more lunch than dinner place. But we for sure recommend this place!

Simple atmosphere, cozy, but nothing special.
Dumplings (koldunai) are really good. Variety of tastes, good dressings, killing portions and really low prices.
Worth visiting.

If you're a fan of pierogi/pelmeni, those Central European/Russian versions of ravioli and known as koldunai in Lithuanian, you must pay a visit to Koldunine. I had borshch (tasty and velvety) followed by koldunai filled with potatoes. They came with sour cream and were excellent and very filling- just what was needed on a cold day. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and the food inexpensive. Koldunai are not gourmet food, but if you're looking for something authentic, tasty and affordable, Koldunine is for you.

This is unapologetic, home-style cooking you won't find outside Eastern Europe. Kolduny are like pierogi or wonton, but with their own twist when it comes to what goes inside. Go for the baked mushroom filling, or the boiled lamb filling, and don't forget to ask for the "crackling" to drizzle over the top. To finish up, if you still have room, get a plate of the berry filling kolduny with sour cream. Heaven! Locals jam the place at lunch time, so be warned. Staff are extremely helpful and do speak English.
