Bistro Blanc is one of the few restaurants in Kosice that truly does use quality, fresh ingredients. I envy the chef's culinary abilities - if I were him, I'd only ever eat at home!
They have a slightly different concept to most other restaurants here: while there is a set menu for appetisers and three 'special' dishes of the day (which are always amazing), you can ask the chef to cook basically whatever you wish. Pasta or risotto with any kind of sauce or ingredients, steaks or fish, other types of vegetarian meals... just ask, and the chef will provide.
Have been to Bistro Blanc three times now, and envision many more visits in the near future.

Enjoyed a memorable dinner in this bistro. Great food, friendly service, nice surroundings, good selection of quality local wines. Most enjoyable evening and sure to return if ever I again find myself in Kosice.
