Great place for healthy lunch! Me and my naughty 3 years old son enjoyed soups.

Cosy bistro for 9 tables. Healthy and simple cuisine, fresh drinks. Menu in English, English-speaking friendly staff. Good kids zone with books, toys and puzzles; and it’s easy to see the children from any table.

This is a place I have been returning to for the previous 3 years for dinner after work. They have a very good sense of taste and they work with fresh, quality indegrients. One of their highlights is their tomato soup, which is served every day, alongside with several other soups, vegetable sauce dishes, Indian curry plates, and a different type of cous cous and bulgur dish each day. Free water as a drink is offered, along with other drinks, coffee, raw and baked cakes.

The prices are maybe not the lowest possible, like 3-6 Euros for a meal (depends on your appetite), but you get quality food in return.

The space is very small, with charming, cute interior details, ideal for a quick meal (breakfast - lunch or dinner until 19:00). The girls working there are very polite and nice, too. There tend to be queues around lunchtime, many people come here for a takeaway.

The bistro is located just around the corner (1 minute walk) from the frequented "Zochova" bus stop in the Old Town, in a lovely neighbourhood, with one of the best bookshops just a few steps away from its location.

Very much recommended for a quick quality eating.

Soupa is my usual go-to place when looking for fast and tasty lunch. Soupa offers soups (ofc), few main dishes and light meals like salads or couscous. Meals are ready to serve, no waiting. It's also hard not to finish your stay with one of their delicious cakes. Dining room is welcoming and cozy. Parents can safely sip a soup while children sit in a play area.

Recommended!

Great soups in affordable prices and other Slovak dishes. The environment is very pleasant as well. Be sure to have a place to sit before buying your food since it is self service. You can also ask for takeaway. Some of the staff speaks English:)

This is a great place. Very affordable and they have such a small menu that changes everyday that everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. I went for tomato soup and then bulgar with spinach, bacon and leek and it was great food. There was a curry option which looked really good but I was going for curry later that evening. There is always a veggie option on. Really liked this place.
