This art nouveau church is worth the short walk from the old town. We could only look inside but the architecture and decor is definitely unique.

One of the most attractive churches I have ever seen. Stunning architecture and the haunting blue colour both outside and inside.
Was a long walk from the centre and a little difficult to find, but well worth the effort.
Memorable !
We travelled some distance from the city in order to see the “Blue church” also known as “Modry Kostol” in Slovak. Blue colour has made the St. Elizabeth church very striking and significant attracting travellers to pay a visit. Blue grey roof and pastel sky blue and its lighter shades on walls have made it a very unique and eye-catching piece of architecture and a building that was outstanding from the rest. The art nouveau style in the church design was admirable.
We went as part of a walking tour and it's a nice stop. It's pretty as are most of the churches. It's a quick stop and easy to visit.
Nothing special to be honest.
Just a normal church painted in blue, it's a nice first impression but that's about it....
Cute church, interesting style. I'm glad we didn't force ourselves to get up at 6am to see the inside, since during it's non-working hours, you can still go in through first doors and see the inside through the glassed second doors
