I booked the hotel for two main reasons: the location and the private parking including the option to charge the car. Also the classic look of the hotel was a plus.
On arrival it turns out the classic look is just one side of the hotel. The entrance is a new, rather ugly building. The private parking has only a few spots, which were all occupied. The charging spot was occupied by non-electric car but I have doubts that the charger would have worked anyway. The private parking is actually part of a public parking space with plenty of spots so in the end parking was no issue.
Rooms are simple but decent. Hotel has a rather complex layout with floors in the old part much higher than in the new part. I had a room in the old part. Initially they gave me a room overlooking the courtyard. But since that's just a terrible view I requested a room facing outside and they gave that to me. Much better.
Breakfast was OK, not spectacular but a decent spread. And since there were only a few guests, there were no queues at the coffee machine.
In the end a good hotel for a one or two night stay.More
