Stumbled across this bar after a long first day of walking around budapest; as fate would have it, it was the closest bar to our apartment and the last we got to after all the walking - it felt like we were settling for all that was left. However, this little bar absolutely made our holiday. Really authentic spot with lots of alcohol to choose from but also some great food too. Outdoor seating was our favourite, bar stools with heaters and blankets if you need them. Lovely spot to people watch too. Great service, great beer and the cheeseboard is one of the best I have ever had. Faultless and would even find an apartment near this bar on our next stay, it's that good.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Good coffee, and good service. Really chilled atmosphere on the outside terrace.

The breakfast menu was small, not very much to chose from if you're after a cooked brekkie, but the pastries were good, and the scrambled egg was great. No toast though - it was served with a basket of cut baguette.

For a quick stop in the morning, this did the job just fine! :)

Only for the beautiful building it worth a visit. It is 3 min walk from the Opera. The cafe is located within one of the most beautiful studio-house built from the end of 19th century, a neo-renaissance monument. It is also home to the Hungarian House of Photographers. The cafe is also well known of its interior and serves gluten free cakes too. It can get crowded in the evenings. Has been one of the fav places for actors from the nearby theaters for many years now.
