Stayed here for 3 nights in September.
Location is good, just across the road from Marriott (Marriott is by the Danube, with probably the best view along with Intercontinental of Buda castle), and a few minutes walk to Vaci utca.
Price is ok but similar to Intercontinental. I would have booked Intercontinental if they offer free internet. As such, I do not think it is that cheap. No problem connecting to the wifi with my phone and laptop but could not do that with my ipad.
Room is simply furnished. Sound proof not great as I can hear it when next door is watching TV or something. Bathroom is quite small, not much space to put my toiletries and tooth brush. The small table next to bed is like a tray on a stand, maybe it is a piece of art but escapes me.
One thing I do not like about the room is when you switch off the lights in the main room, it switches off the power to the socket under the desk, which is the one I use for my laptop. Keep that in mind if you are using a laptop as well. Another thing is they should put a kettle in the room, sometimes I like to make myself a cup of tea/coffee.
Service is good but nothing special.More
