Owner description: The best views of Budapest and the Danube River are from this hill, which also features the imposing fortress, the Citadella, at its summit.

statues are really striking but if you have mobility problems you can get good pictures from the chain bridge if you have a good zoom camera.

Visible from the Pest side of the Danube, saw it from the Hop on Hop off bus. and from the Palace area.

The view from the hill is breath-taking, espescially in the evening. The story behind the name of the hill is very interesting.

It's really worth to visit during your stay! You can reach the statue by bus, but the best way to do is to walk. When you are down to the hill, it looked too high to walk, but it's okey. The stairs are not too high, but sometimes very slippery. When you are on the hill, the views are amazing! There are a lot of places to sit during your walk and eat something.
