Good clean hotel in great central location . Staff very friendly and helpful and overall good value. Rooms are all different sizes as they kept original dimensions of the building. My room was just about ok for just myself but a couple would find it cramped. Although , despite the comfy double bed , the room may only be sold for single occupancy.
Breakfast was good , rye bread was one of the best I tasted . But selection is basic and no hot options . My only reason for deducting a star .
Overall a very pleasant stay and would happily book again .

This hotel, whilst not the most opulent is set in a great central location and we found excellent value for money. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a triple room on the ground floor which we were really impressed with as a 3* establishment. The beds were comfy and all seemed clean and tidy. The TV has limited UK channels but we weren’t there to watch.

The shower is a tad odd set low, and also there is a lack of toiletries but we bought with us from the airport so no problem.

Breakfast was pleasant albeit no hot options.

I’ve had to rate at 5* based on what we paid. Couldn’t fault.

This hotel was located in walking area. you may prepare baggage for distant parking. But by this location, you may walk around Ljubljana old town in a minute. Staff was so friendly. Breakfast is nice. Baggage may hard to move to the room

This little hotel inside the old town is a basic hotel. We stayed for 1 night when we arrived inLjubljana where we started our tour. Vehicles cannot get near to the hotel so you'll have to drag your luggage through sidewalks and cobblestones to get to the hotel.

Hotel check-in was straightforward. No charm and our room was on the 2nd floor. No elevators, no help from the staff - we had to carry our 3 luggages up a flight and a half of steps. Breakfast was in a separate building just beside the hotel. It was ok as I remember.

We had a very good experience on our 3 night stay at the Emonec.

All the reviews here are useful and accurate and I would summarise by saying:-
+ location great, literally 100 metres from Presernov Square and the 3 bridges (the hotel name is over an arch off the main road - you walk through to the hotel courtyard)
+ modern, clean rooms with good ensuite. Shower and sink soap dispensers but no toiletries
+ breakfast very adequate in a large and bright breakfast area. No hot options but cereals/yoghurts/bread/meats/cheeses/jams/juices/ and hot drinks
+ helpful reception (they booked the airport shuttle bus for us at 9 euros per person - this is an 8 seater which drops you at the Union Business Hotel as the nearest point to the pedestrian centre - the hotel is a 5 minute walk down to Presernov Square and the pink cathedral and then 100 metres up Wolfova)

There truly aren't any genuine negatives BUT you do get what you pay for so there aren't any lovely little touches in the rooms (no tea/coffee making facilities). There is no bar or lounge/drinks area.

At a good price this is excellent value. If you want a larger, more traditional option the Union, Union Business and Best Western are just up the road.
