I'm not sure that the ljubjlana Resort Hotel falls into the category of Hotel. I think that chalets would be a fairer description. The exterior of the building is quite bleak, though the interior is clean and comfortable.
If you stay on a B&B basis you have to walk about 150 meters through the camp and caravan site to get to the restaurant, not ideal if you experience the same weather that we had. Breakfast was average and was pretty much the same each morning.
There is an outside bar and the site holds different events. There was a Honda Gold Wing rally whilst we were there and considering the amount of people it attracted the site was relatively quiet and peaceful.
The hotel advertises an outside swimming pool, which looked quite nice but unfortunately it doesn't open until mid June. A big disappointment as this was the reason why we booked the hotel.
The Resort is about 3 miles away from Ljubljana city center and there is a bus stop directly across from the site where bus numbers 6,8 &11 take you to the center. You can buy a travel card at the resort reception it cost 2 Euros 40 cents for a return trip.
The Ljubljana resort is well organised and the staff are very good, the reception staff especially who speak English and go out of their way to help.
There are a few bars, a couple of restaurants and a supermarket within a half a mile walk of the site
My personal recommendation is that the hotel is okay if you want to stay out of the center or you are touring and want somewhere to stay for a night or 2, (the main autobahns are only a couple of miles away). A car is a must for anything longer

Room tip: Downstairs rooms have a little balcony area with 2 x chairs, 2nd floor rooms don't

Don't camp here in any sort of non-summer weather.

The toilets, showers and wash-ups are all open to the cold, and on our weekend visit had no lighting.

A torch was needed for early morning visits to the 'unisex' lavatories, as there were no urinals available men splashed all over seats and floors, no toilet cleaning over the weekend.

No segregation of washbasins so potentially ladies would have to stand beside men shaving etc.

Rubbish bins overflowing despite light attendance by touring campers.

As often the case, nice reception area, poor comfort for the touring caravanner or tent camper, who after all at the prices charged expect at least warm facilities.

If a campsite is open, it's facilities should be up to the climate it is open for. Definitely not 4 star facilities.

Room tip: Bring a warm dressing gown....

Very nice and modern rooms in the hotel part (at the end of the camping place). The interior is very clean and lovely, but the exterior is nothing to look at. The rooms were usually available even for late booking, friendly staff.

We stayed only one night in the hotel, is a very pleasant location, easily, very clean and spacious rooms, very warm inside. A delicious breakfast! The Internet does not connect very well in the room, but definitely will go back if I have the chance.

Terrible. Rooms are in a little houses and you have a feeling like you are in a box of matches. It's not connected with reception or breakfast room so you have have a walking tour to get there. There is no sleep in rooms. Walls are thin like paper and doors of rooms are so loud that when someone closes the door whole room shakes. You have to sleep and rest in these conditions??
Also unfortunately we were there one night and that night there was some school sport group. They were so drunk and it was so noisy . They were running and yelling around like it was noon. No sleep until 4 in the morning!!!! No hotel security or anyone to clear the mess. At check out receptionist told only that they are aware of it and had complaints of other guests but that's it.
Breakfast consists of cheap Lidl products.
Never ever again not even someone gives me free of charge.
