Very clean, crisp and attractive room. Nice, helpful personnel. Good breakfast. Tea/ coffee available at other times of the day which was very welcome on returning to Hotel after being out.

***Do wish they would take care of big rubber plant in reception. It is trying to do its best, poor thing, but needs water, or less water, or fertiliser or sth to make it happy!

The staff was great here, very helpful, and the location is good too. The room was large and comfortable, but it overlooked the highway and had significant traffic noise. By closing the windows I eliminated the road noise but then had to turn on the AC because the room became very hot and stuffy. (My husband slept through the noise, so some people will not have a problem with it.) Breakfast was fine except for the coffee (ask the staff to bring you coffee from the machine, which was much better). I might stay here again for the staff and location, but only in a room on the other side of the hotel.

LIke a previous recent reviewer I wish I could give the Adora more stars. There were so many positives including the very helpful and friendly staff, the good location near the old town and restaurants and also the excellent housekeeping every day. The breakfast was also good with an option for good coffee and a cooked dish- although the breakfast room was rather too small and crowded when more than 4 people turned up at once!

We spent 5 nights there and enjoyed the larger room that we had booked because of our longish stay. However there were some things that we did not enjoy so much. The main one was the tiny bathroom and the shower fittings which were "new" butt really very cheap and the 'distressed ' old look made the shower hard to regulate. this was not a good look or a pleasant experience. Also the one lift was not very reliable and we thought that once we would be stuck in it! A further problem was that our guide could not drive into street in the afternoon. What would improve this hotel? For one they should consider improving the bathroom fittings. A couple of small things would also help. One would be to place information about what to do with the lift in an emergency in English as well as Slovenian! Another small improvement would be to put a waste paper bin in the room as well as the tiny bin in the bathroom. One always collects a lot of paper and other bits and pieces when travelling so a bigger bin would help! So although I really appreciated the nice staff, i probably would not stay here again!

We had a lovely visit at this hotel. The hotel was an easy walk down to main promenade area. Our room was very clean, and had everything we needed. We had only 2 single beds but that may have been because the hotel was heavily booked. Breakfast was great- cold cuts etc and freshly cooked eggs if you wanted. There was an elevator so no carrying bags upstairs. Would recommend.
