Very pleased with location and the fact we could even open the window. Such a rarity and a welcome break from the awful air conditioning found practically everywhere else in the world these days.

Bed wasnt too my liking but very few hotels manage to get that right, infact it's impossible to please everyone. But why should you come here? The location is obviously excellent (nearest the number 1 ranked restaurant in Warsaw which is obligatory to experience) but, wow, THE BREAKFAST! I've been in many higher 4 star hotels that simply don't match the quantity and quality with the space to enjoy it that Metropol provided. Makes such a difference!

This hotel is very close to the main station. Is easy to acess, and a great base to visit the city. The room was typical 3* good hotel. The room was the right size, clean and comfy.
The breakfast was very good. A good hotel overwall.

A group of 11 stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. Firstly let me praise the reception staff, I had contacted them before our arrival to request 6 rooms together and transfers.
The emails were answered very quickly and my requests were all accommodated. Transfer service was excellent.
Great service! Very helpful staff on reception.
Our rooms were all together and were very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, some good choices but not really to our taste, could have done with some toast.
Hotel In a good spot for walking around the city and old town.
The only downside is the extremely busy roundabout right outside. It had been closed off when we were there to be relaid so workmen very early and very noisy. It was unfortunate for us as we had to keep the window open to keep room cool. On The Monday the roundabout was reopened and
very busy, trams stop right outside too.
Don't let that put you off, take some ear plugs.
Would recommend.

Stayed here with friends. Two of the group had rooms which had just been refurbished, our room was the old style but clean and comfortable. A great breakfast with lots of options. The only downside to the hotel is that it overlooks one of the busiest junctions in Warsaw. The noise of the traffic and trams was very loud and the trams run until the early hours of the morning and start again about 5.00 am. There's no aircon in the rooms so if you need the window open take ear plugs (although I did and could still hear the noise).

Room Tip: All of the rooms face the road

I have rather mixed feeling about the hotel, so maybe I first start with the good:

The hotel is well located, very close to Metro and rail links, and 30 minutes away by train from Chopin Airport. It is a short walk from the Cultural Palace and in lively neighbourhood. The staff are friendly, and despite the rather run down facade (currently under repair??) both the common areas and the rooms are modern in design and clean.

Other aspects of the rooms to let this hotel down though. My double room was cramped and airless -the window opens to let 'fresh' air in but as this faces one of the busiest traffic intersections in Warsaw you cannot do this overnight. The room does not appear to have air-conditioning. Even with the window closed it seems the exterior sound proofing is poor, and I could clearly hear someone blowing his nose at night in the next room...

The breakfast is good, and the hotel 'jazz' restaurant is also worth a visit

I really wanted to enjoy this place as an alternative to the chain hotel (Novotel) across the road, but honestly the Novotel is cheaper and the rooms quieter and bigger.
