Our server was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for wine, side dishes and appetizers. Each dish was superb. Looking forward to going back.

The very best chinese cuisine for me is still in the United States !!!. I have been, however, to China on several occasions and could judge the quality and the taste of the Chinese food. China Garden offers real authentic tastes of the JIANGSU Province in China. It is tasty, fresh, nicely presented and reasonably priced. Not all the dishes are for your average Polish consumer (check their menu on the restaurant's web-site: www.chinagarden.pl). I gave China Garden high marks also because they are unique in Warsaw. Many chinese restaurants here are run by vietnamese and therefore have only half-authentic chinese flavor. This one is a real thing. Try traditional "hot & sour soup" and my favorite "beef with fresh red-hot chili peppers". There are many interesting items on the menu and you could truly explore Jiangsu province flavors. Famous chinese beer Tching-Tao is served icy cold and helps neutralize spicy dishes. Decor of the restaurant is also nice and elegant. Location - quite faraway from the center of Warsaw, but in a heart of Miasteczko Wilanow - new quarter of Warsaw, just across the street from the famous Wilanow Palace.

Have been trying to find a good Chinese in Warsaw for some time and have to say that this is the best we have found so far. The restaurant is in a new development south of Wilanow and takes some time to drive down from Muranow (we think the 116 bus goes there). From a prelim experience, the service was very helpful and friendly, the food was good (although a bit unlike what we are used to in the UK), and the choice surprisingly varied. We'll definitely be going back for a second try.

Really craving Chuinese food, I went to China Garden on a week-night for dinner with colleagues. The menu was complicated and most of the chinese cuisine favorites did not taste like they do in other countries.

The place itself was average (shaky old wooden chairs that were a bit scary on top of being super cumbersome and hard to move in order to sit to the table). Staff was super polite, everyone was Polish.

All in all, it was ok, but not what I expected. Just know that if you go there, don't hope for the menu to be easy and by the time you do get something familiar, it may taste like powdered sauce mix.

Been visiting China Garden regularly, about twice a month. Would like to recommend the hot pot (60 pln per person). They have a small pot for one as well, but do remember to ask the waiter to give you smaller servings of reorders, unless you have a hearty appetite. With the cold weather now in Warsaw, hotpot is the best comfort food you can had.

During Chinese New Year, I tried the abalone rice (for one). Steamed when ordered, the sauce and abalone was very good, wished it had more sauce though.

Finally tried the duck's tongue and pad fried pig's intestine (large intenstines). The duck tongue was lightly fried with batter. The pigs intestines were fired with onions and bell peppers. Be very careful not to bite or swallow any of the small pepper corns, usually used in Sichuan cuisine, will be very spicy and numbing for those who are not used to such food.

Enjoy!
