On a motorcycle trip to Warsaw.
Lots of rain when I crossed the border into Poland, and getting dark.
Found Baranowski on the internet (from a nearby fuel-station).

Reception spoke good english on the phone, and a reservation was made quickly.
15min later I was there.

The hotel has a safe parking, motorcycle was parked in view of reception.
Easy check-in, creditcard payment on arrival.
The room was good and clean. The wifi was surprisingly fast.
My evening meal in the restaurant was Tasty and service was good.
Despite being close to a busy road, I didnt notice the noise, and had a good night sleep.
Breakfast was OK and check-out was smooth.

I can recommend this hotel for travellers on the move.

Room Tip: Ask for room away from the road if you want But mine was on roadside, and well-isolate: I didnt notice the noise.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Having mobility issues have been offered room adapted for disabled. My original choice was dbl superior room, it was sufficient with the garden view, quiet, spacious with comfy double bed and excellent free Wi-Fi. Breakfast - excellent. Free car park is certainly a bonus. All that at £61 (that comes at £30.50 per night per person) for a superior room with garden view shower, free wifi and breakfast for 2. Important notice - building has a lift and room is spacious enough for the wheelchair - ideal if you have any mobility issues.

Room Tip: Superior with garden view - specious, quiet.

Quite expensive for Poland, but it is ideally situated 5 minutes from the E30 and the Polish/German crossing (at the time of writing the Slubice town crossing is shut) we had to take a 'superior' room - superior because it was bigger, no other reason. In its day it must have been a nice room, but the decor and furnishings were a little dated and tired. I am always cautious of that stale "shake and vac" smell you get when you walk in. Bathroom (shower only, on which you could not adjust the height) had an industrial sounding extractor, that didn't seem to extract, as a quick shower doubled as a steam room plus condensation.
Very much on the plus side however was the kitchen. We ate dinner in the spacious, but rather sterile restaurant and the food was fantastic. The menu was interesting, the prices fair and the quality of food exceptional. Breakfast (20 PLN per person) was fine with the usual choices of hot and cold.
Car seemed safe in the car park at the rear and they also offer free use of their salt grotto and sauna - nice touch. Wifi a bit erratic.
Be aware that the Road 29 is very busy and there is a regular traffic queue outside the hotel for the level crossing, but if you want to break up your journey through Germany/Poland this would seem to be as good a place as any.

Room Tip: Get one on the back a) you can see your car b) main road is quiet noisy. You cannot avoid the regular freight trains 100 m away!

Nice hotel, very clean. Arrived early and been asked to wait only 30mins to get the room.
Dogs allowed for a small fee.
Generally good pricing for the facilities you get.
Nice play area outside for kids and a bit expensive restaurant in the same building but really nice food tho.

Very good place to stay- good looking hotel. Great food- on the highest standard. Very good service. Parking is secure at the back of the hotel. Good location. The only minus is no air conditioning in the room.
