Stayed here in mid December, as two couples staying in Studio rooms. This is a lovely hotel with a homely and cosy feel.
To summarize:
Pros:
Ladies on reception were very pleasant and helpful. We changed our room as we were under the impression that our room came with a balcony but apparently not all Studios have balconies, but she happily changed our room for us. One of the ladies went above and beyond helping us with booking a tour, and ordering taxis.
Everything was spotlessly clean.
Bed was comfortable. As is normal for Poland our bed came with extra large pillows and single duvets on a double bed.
Breakfast was lovely with sausages, eggs cooked to order, and a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, salads, cereals etc.
Our room on the top floor had a large bathroom, with shower and bidet (no bath).
Plenty of storage space.
Excellent location with some rooms overlooking the main street.
Cons:
As the rooms are kept lovely and warm, if you open a window be prepared some noise. Our room was ok as did not face onto the main street, but our fellow travellers were disturbed by late night revellers.
There is no lift. We were on the top floor which is approx 56 steps up. OK for us as we only had hand luggage and no disabilities.
As mentioned our bathroom was huge (Can't remember room number but it was 302 or 304?) It would have been great to have a surface other than under the sink to put toiletries - there was plenty of room for a small table under the sloping ceiling in there which would have been quite useful.
Our booking confirmation from an agent mentioned that our room had a laptop safe. Actually there are no safes in the rooms, although there is one in reception I believe.
Wifi didn't reach our room very well.
All in all I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Hotel Sabala for a pleasant stay.
Hope this is helpful.
