We booked a room in this hotel two months before and were totally disappointed! From the toilet was so terrible smell that especially in the morning was not possible to enter!!! In the room was quite clean, but this smell...
From the window we could see nothing, just the wall of cemetery (photo).
The breakfast was normal, but without the good choice.
And in the end of our holidays at 5 a.m. the phone was ringing!!! So after we couldn't sleep anymore. I'm quite sure it was reception's mistake!
One star is for the place-was nice, calm and not far from the centre

So, if you decide to stay here at least ask a room not on the 1st and 2nd floors!

A very nice 3* hotel in the heart of the Jewish District, or ‘Kazimierz’. We stayed for four nights, Mon-Fri and was in room 14 (double bed) overlooking the street outside and above reception.

Room, and whole hotel was immaculately clean - in-fact one of the cleanest and nicest smelling hotels I’ve ever been too. As there was two of us, we requested an extra duvet from reception as the double beds only have a single duvet ... strange - but our request was granted in just a few moments so no problem here. Recommendation for the hotel here would be to put double sized duvets in double rooms, and this would save their guests having to ask for additional ones.

Breakfast was continental, with a small selection of ham, cheese, pastries, breads, jams, scrambled eggs, sausage, juices, teas and coffees.

The service from the reception staff we found to always be lovely. 24hr reception with happy smiling staff which is nice!

Location - the hotel is in the heart of the Jewish District, right next door to the Hotel Eden. The street that the hotel is located on was actually in the Schindler’s List movie (where the Jewish person crawled through the sewers to go back to his wife and is nearly caught so starts moving suitcases). Turning left from the hotel reception you arrive into the Jewish square where a number of restaurants and bars could be found. To the right, there was some quirky food outlets serving traditional foods, hotdogs, burgers etc... with a nice outdoor seating area. Also to the right was lots and lots of other bars and cafes which could be found by wandering the streets.

To get to the main square of Krakow, it was around a 20minute walk. We used the Maps app on our iPhone for directions, but was pretty easy to find.

Attractions - we visited Auchswitz & Birkenau, the Wieliczka Salt Mines and did the Schindler’s List Walking Tour and the Museum. Auchswitz was around 1hr 20mins away from Krakow by coach, Wieliczka around 1hr and for the Schindler’s List tour we met outside the Kazimierz Hotel which is about 3mins away for Hotel David.

Overall - I would recommend this hotel, and yes I would stay again.

I do think a few improvements would have made it better: New carpets in room (were clean; but worn and stained), new decor - I would not call this hotel a boutique; the rooms are dated, and a mix of styles... the photo in our room was of Paris, and so was the clock, but then in reception and down in the small breakfast room it’s as if you are in Italy. And finally as mentioned above - give double rooms double sized duvets! Non of this hindered my stay, and I enjoyed it very much :). Thank you

Loves this hotel. It's in a quaint pretty little hidden street of the Jewish district of Krakow (the street actually featured in Schindler's List!) it was traditionally decorated inside. We had a large room with temperature control, tv and private bathroom overlooking the street below. It was quiet of a night but the Jewish district is a great place to stay - more traditional and 'boho' than up by the main square. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we were comfortable during our stay here. We would definitely recommend and return! Great value for money.

We recommend this hotel for everyone. Its clean, the rooms are normal, we slept well. The breakfast was good.
The hotel is with a good location in the Jewish district. Dont miss a good Jewish restaurant name is "Hamsa" and its close to this hotel. There are some good hummus food. Krakow is really nice.

We stayed in Krakow for 2 nights and chose the Jewish quarter as it is less touristy but still offers nice restaurants and such. The hotel is located in a quiet area in Kazimerz. The hotel is a bit worn down but provides enough comfort for some days. We stayed on the top floor, which can be pretty hot in summer nights, but for September it was just fine. The breakfast was ok, but could have a broader variety.

Wifi was quick, we got a car park for 10 Euros extra per day, which is a bit expensive. Around the corner there is a 24h car park, which we discovered later.
