It is easy to see why Topolowa Residence is ranked so highly. As others have said, the staff are professional and friendly and the rooms are very well equipped. The shot of vodka on arrival certainly is a nice touch! The hotel is located in a quiet residential street not more than 15 minutes easy walk to the old town and all it has to offer. It is worth noting that there are also some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood if you don’t fancy the walk back into town at any point. The staff will gladly point you in the right direction. Overall a big recommendation from us if you are planning to visit Krakow.

The hotel itself is old, very old on fact, but you’d never know. It is updated through and through and stands 3 stories tall. No elevator means that the staff will take your luggage to your rooms without question and that is just the beginning. People like Andrzej will make absolutely sure that your stay with them is amazing. He sat down with us, offered a welcome drink and snack, explained the city and what to see and do and even marked them on a map. The hotel is located between 20-30 mins walking from just about anything in old town. They offer laundry service as well as a nice breakfast. Best cappuccino in town by the way. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a 5 night stay here and it was excellent. We had a really nice welcome, just the right mix of relaxing atmosphere and chat with professional delivery. Nice vodka shot, which set us up for our stay.
Breakfast was diverse and the teas were lovely.
Booked a massage through the hotel with one of the recommend mobile masseurs, you'll see the information in your room. She was very good and professional.
We had a cheese and ham toastie and cocktails one evening in the lounge area and that was really nice, very reasonably priced too.
Room was elegant and had some nice touches.
We couldn't of been happier. Thank you so much!

The first thing to mention at the Topolowa Residence is how friendly and efficient ALL the hotel staff were. They seemed personally keen that we enjoyed our stay both at the hotel and in Krakow. From the email straight after we booked to ask if we needed help with making any arrangements, through to the farewell, they were terrific.

The rooms were most comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast spread for such a small hotel was excellent. So, it is a 10 minute walk to the old town but this means that it is in a quiet location, and walking around was a pleasure.

Only hotel that I have visited in Krakow, but I would have no hesitation to book again.

We arrived in Krakow on a late flight and they were more than accommodating in getting us checked in. They arranged a tour to Auschwitz for us which is was very easy and helpful and since the driver was going to be arriving earlier than the normal breakfast start time they informed us they will start earlier just for us. The breakfast spread was more than we expected and we were so thankful! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful in meeting our needs - from spare electric adaptors to suggestions on restaurants and sites to see. There are good restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream down the block and the Old City is walking distance. Thanks for making our stay in Krakow a great one! Highly recommended!
