Was visiting for two nights as a short vacation in January and I was very pleased with Hotel Floryan. Perfect location close to Kraków Central Station and located in the wonderful old town of Kraków. Very nice staff that really took care of you. You get a discount for the bar and restaurant at the location. Clean rooms. Silent at night. Minibar with reasonable prices. My only complaint would be that the free Wifi was slow in room 105. It wasn’t really a problem since I could use the mobile network. But if you are from outside the EU it may be an issue. Four stars from me.

Krakow is a beautiful town.

The Hotel Floryan is good value for money in the heart of Krakow's Old Town between the Floryan Gate and the Main Square which is only 2 minute walk away.

The hotel was clean, rooms had a TV, WiFi connectivity and we found the staff friendly and helpful. there are lots of restaurants within in a few minutes walk and the area around the hotel is semi pedestrianised.

I would definitely return here.

We were not staying in this hotel but we walked in on spec for an evening meal and were very impressed with the quality of the food. The restaurant was very pleasant, the ambience was good. God service and good value.

Came here for a meal one evening and service was poor. They didn't ID for alcohol, service was slow too. One of my friends is vegan and asked for pasta with no feta cheese but it came out with Parmesan on instead so she didn't eat it but they still expected her to pay for it because it was on the bill! We asked for some ketchup and they gave us freezing cold tomato purée which was gross, soup tasted like warmed up tomato purée too! On the other hand my pizza was great!

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main square and in an amazing location. There are a small number of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops just a few doors away. It is also located near a beautiful park. The staff were very helpful. The beds were comfortable. There was always hot water when you needed it. They provided a kettle even though it was not advertised as a facility (we just asked at reception). The breakfast room was bright and airy with lots of green plants and a new flower in a vase on each table every day. There was the usual buffet style food - cereal, toast, cakes, scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages and also fruit and yogurts etc. Juices and tea/coffee were also available. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the pizzas looked lovely and freshly cooked. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Krakow. But if you struggle to get up or downstairs, be warned - there are 3 floors and there is no lift - we were on the top floor and had to take a rest on level 2 !!

Room tip: Ask for a room on the quiet side - we didn't hear a thing from ours.
