2nd visit to the Hotel Wyspianski was just as good if not better than the first. The hotel is in an excellent location (5 mins from the main square)
We were in the superior rooms at the front of the hotel overlocking the city, a lovely room.

I like everything (nearly) about this hotel, the staff are amazing.

The only niggle is the breakfast, I wasn't keen on this however everyone else seemed fine with it.

The rooms are spacious and kept really clean, no complaints at all.

When I visit Krakow again, I will be staying in the Hotel Wyspianski.

Stayed at the Hotel for two nights in a group.

Hotel is in a great location in the middle of Krakow, right near city centre with great transport links. Hotel has ample parking and space for cars and buses for pick up. The hotel also has a bar.

Check in was relatively easy, and even with seven people was a quick process - although the staff did send us repeatedly in the wrong direction. Rooms are very budget, with no tea and coffee making facilities in room. No safe in room either. Bathroom was clean but mould was around toilet, and shower was very small. Desk in room for working and Wi-Fi provided in the Hotel was speedy - 32mps. Ample amount of plug sockets. Beds were okay but no extra pillows and were slightly hard. Television flat screen HD, but limited channel selection. Maid service operated on two days, very efficient and cleaned rooms. Heating slightly odd- thermostats controlled in rooms when the heating was on, but couldn't actually be turned on in room but by hotel themselves, some in group were very cold in night. Lots of school groups, so can get noisy with 30+ kids on floors etc, although we had no problems.

Breakfast was a continental selection, with limited hot food. Tables were always ample, but not greatest selection of food ever. Wide selection of drinks available and staff helpful.

Dinner was varied, and selection of set menu was okay. Both nights food was nice and three courses were provided. Waiting team very good and food came quickly and efficiently.

Bar was okay, prices very average and small. Bar can get busy early evening so get down early to get a seat.

Overall an average hotel that was good value for money, great location to Krakow.

Room Tip: Premium rooms best, and ones facing outwards. Avoid school groups.

Large hotel in city centre, a few minutes walk from Old Town and main square. Also convenient for railway station and trams. Room was clean and hotel staff friendly and helpful. Car park large enough for buses so hotel popular with large groups, including school groups, meaning reception area can be busy and chaotic. I slept well but heard others complaining at breakfast about noisy guests. I would certainly consider staying here again, its location was so convenient.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Why?

Booked in on a bed and breakfast basis for four nights but on our first evening told we could not dine in the restaurant due to several group bookings. We were not informed about this on check in. Reception staff could not confirm if we would be able to eat there on other evenings during our stay. Decided to take our business elsewhere. What Hotel only has 150 seats in its restaurant when in fact it has 231 rooms? (Most of these would be double rooms at that)!! In fact on one morning we were squeezed into a conference room for breakfast to make way for several school trips who were using the restaurant.

Disruption to sleep on first two nights. First night, English teenage girls in the room next door making a lot of noise and running around in the room and their friends mistakenly banging loudly on our door. We complained to reception staff on two occasions about the noise and despite their teacher being contacted twice and having a word with the girls the noise continued. This was at 11.30 pm . Reception staff did not care about the disruption and informed us there would be no teenagers staying on our floor from the following day and we would not be charged for our first night (but on checking out of the hotel nothing was mentioned about a refund). Even more annoying was the fact we had paid for an upgrade to a premium room.

Disrupted sleep on the second night in that we could hear young people running up and down corridors. While this was not on our floor the noise echoed round the hotel. We contacted reception who said they could see nothing on their cameras (but we never saw any cameras). Again this was at 11.30 pm. This is a major concern in that the young people (whatever their nationality) were obviously not being supervised by teachers. We feel the hotel should have a code of conduct of behaviour for school trips.

This hotel is more concerned with school trips travelling through Europe with groups coming and going at all times of the day and night. We felt large groups were treated as priority over us during our stay and were made to feel like second class citizens.

If you like a quiet hotel then do not stay here. I cannot emphasise this enough.

Came in winter few years back, hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The location is just perfect, 3 minutes from the Old Town and the big shopping centre. We had a beautiful view from the widnow as it was snowing. The room was cleaned daily.
