Myself and my friend stayed here on the final stop of our trip around Europe, we'd had a standards set really high by previous hotels so were wary about checking into other places but this hotel did not disappoint, such amazing value for money, extremely comfortable and most importantly, we felt really safe. The location is very accessible via trams and such, we travelled from the main station late at night. It's only a short walk to landmarks such as the main square, Wawel, the old Jewish quarter etc., And pretty much located on the river bank so very central to all of your main amenities, supermarkets, restaurants and such. We loved the hotel so much we even stayed for a meal there one night, the food was amazing and service very quick. We didn't originally opt in for breakfast either but did as soon as we'd sampled the food there and it was worth the investment. Our check in was one the quickest we'd had in any hotel, the front of house staff were so pleasant and could not do enough for us, even to the housekeepers who were always happy to make conversation in the mornings. I'd not be tempted to try any other hotels should I visit Krakow again, this was the perfect place to see out an amazing trip around Europe.

We visited this hotel at the end of December.

It is just opposite the wawel castle and about a 10 minute walk to the main square. It is so safe to walk about late at night. Myself and my boyfriend had the best time.

The hotel is nice, with a good location, and my sisters bed was fine. Mine was wonky, sliding all around. The breakfast was ok, and it’s a short walk of just a couple of blocks to all of the historic areas, so we were satisfied.

Stumbled on this accommodation last minute after our apartment reservation was cancelled unexpectedly. We were so glad to have found somewhere to stay after our long journey and the reception staff made booking our room and checking in very straightforward. They even recommended a quick fast food shop for a late night tea on our first night. The kebab shop round the corner is incredibly cheap and delicious in equal measure.

Rooms are basic but perfect for our needs. They were cleaned daily and we were able to get extra pillows and towels brought to our room. Ice and glasses were also readily available from the bar to go with our drinks from the petrol station shop next door. For any other supplies a supermarket is just over the road.

The ibis is around 10/15 mins stroll away from the old town, very handy for the river and close to the Jewish district. Couldn’t fault the location and if you can’t be bothered walking after a long day Uber’s to the other side of the city were only 10plz (£2)!
