Beautiful square with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Lovely atmosphere and lots of historic buildings to visit. Have visited at Easter and late May and the square was decorated for the occasions with flowers and craft stalls. There are horse and carriages waiting to take you off sight seeing and street entertainers for you to enjoy!

This place is impossible to miss when you're in Krakow. When visiting the old city every road seems to lead to it. We arrived on Easter Monday and were lucky to experience an open market on the square. We enjoyed a delicious Polish meal right on the main square, an unforgettable experience. So much history and culture packed into such a small space, can't be missed.

A good place to relax with a cup of coffee or a beer and watch
The world go by. Listen out for the trumpeter every hour and look up to the church tower where you will see him.

Around Easter they have a local market in the town center that sells lots of food as well as homemade items. IT was worth the visit. The surrounding area has many churches and historic building that have been around for centuries.
