Excellent location. About a 5 minute walk to the Old Town Main Square and 5 minutes to the Jewish Quarter. The hostel occupies the top floor of the building. I had a double room No. 8 with en-suite that faced the rear courtyard.

The bed was on a high level (mezzanine). Very solid and surprisingly comfortable.
The shower was quite roomy and water was always hot.

There is a main kitchen that you can use but the corridor outside my room had a small kitchenette area where you can boil a kettle and keep food in a fridge.

You can leave your luggage in the reception area if you check-in early or leave late after check-out.

They don’t do breakfast but a few doors down from the hostel is the Mo-ja Cafe which do a wide variety of meals. They open early at 8:00am (9am weekends).

Only complaint would be the Wi-Fi. At times it would be OK, suitable for watching YouTube or live streams but it would then change to very slow speed only suitable for light web browsing.

Overall for the price, an excellent place to stay in a perfect location, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Room tip: Quite rooms at rear

Close to everything, clean rooms and we even had our own bathroom and little outside terrace! Liked how the rooms were decorated! The beds weren't the most comfy but you get what you pay for! 3 flights of stairs to carry bags up isn't the best but I would still recommend for cheap and cheerful accommodation in Kraków

Very near the public transport hub and the main tourist centre. Private rooms are quaint and very clean. best of all was the kind and helpful receptionist who really goes out of her way to assist where possible. Overall, one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. Only thing is, if your rooms are facing the street, the traffic and trams can be loud. Nothing an iPod can't solve though. My only suggestion is to have a small table fan in the room as it can get stuffy especially in the summer. But all things considered, I'd DEFINITELY recommend High Life Hostel! It's really value for money.

Room tip: Rooms facing the street which can be noisy because of traffic.

We stayed at High Life hostel for 4 days with my daughter. We had a double room with a private roof terrace. The room was very tidy, it was decorated creatively as the other rooms and spaces as well, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the morning coffee at our own roof terrace where you could hear the bells of the Mariacka cathedral and the famous hejnal as well. Greetings from Susanna and Catarina, Finland

We had a double room, with a pleasant surprise of a private terrace :):)
Room was clean, big, and perfect for a short stay.

Location is great... about a 5/6 minute walk to both Old Town and the Jewish Quarter (both just along a straight road so really easy to get anywhere)

Staff are really friendly, and wifi is really quick
Would highly recommend!
