We were a group of 5 photographers for a field photo-trip in Gdansk for a week. Before we even got to the place, the owner was very kind to give all the possible information about the place, prices, additional stuff like bed linen, and directions from the station via e-mail. Everything went smooth, the stay was very comfortable, the apartment had everything it promised, and for additional 45pln we got bed linen for everybody. The owner was very kind, and helped us out on some basic tourist info, found additional keys and in general is a pleasant guy.
In reality the apartments are everything you read. Ground floor, very close to shops and public transport (6 minutes from center of Gdansk by tram, 30 minutes till the sea). Upon the arrival the apartment was clean and absolutely ready to move in. We enjoyed the place. It's the same as on the photos, just remove all the stuff like books and vases.
The small minus goes to some really minor decorative things like not entirely perfectly painted walls, and a few old stains. Really nothing serious. A bit bore important would be the squeaky floors, and a bit thin walls. That really didn't bother us much though. And the balcony door in the biggest room - just try it harder on the handle and it'll be fine. We didn't make much noise and the neighbors are also very nice people who, despite not speaking English, could show us the way around. ^^
