You can spend days walking around this area! The restaurants are wonderful and the shopping unlimited. If you are looking for amber, you find more than you can believe in this area!

A lot of school classes made it a bit crowded. Take the side streets and you will find a medical city with a lot of atmosfare.

Having heard a lot about the old town (Stare Miasto) we decided to take a walk through and see what it was all about. Gdańsk Stare Miasto is an absolutely amazing place filled with a hell of a lot of architecture from the 17th Century that has been meticulously maintained. It is very clean and calm and contains a lot of bars and cafe’s. Definately worth seeing

We visited in February. It was freezing cold but stunning. It is just like a movie set! There are lots of shops and lovely restaurants and coffee shops. A really lovely place to spend a couple of hours just walking and taking in the view.
