The Brno Technical Museum, which is easily accessible by public transit, is four floors of informative exhibits focused on the Czech Republic's proud history of technological achievement.
Permanent exhibits include: factory machinery, civil engineering, metal smithing and forging, automobiles, aviation, communication technology. The museum also hosts a variety of rotating temporary exhibits.
In addition to the standard exhibits, the museum also has a room of interactive exhibits to appeal to children.
Outdoors, behind the museum building is a collection of five former Czech air force aircraft.
The museum is well laid out and organized and the indoor exhibits are kept in good repair.
The five aircraft behind the museum suffer a bit for being left in the elements year round, so it would be nice to eventually see some sort of shelter built over them at some point in the future.
