This restaurant is one of the most interesting we've ever been too. Whilst the interior is very modern, almost sterile, the food however is magical and almost outer worldly - It's a very interesting combination! The service we got was relaxed and friendly and the staff were very knowledgeable with both wine and food. The menu is an interesting one and if you're to try something new and exciting this is definitely the place! The food (one of us had the tasting menu and one of us a 3 course meal), the wine and the great service - we loved it all!

We went to Field for dinner and it was one of our top two restaurants in Prague during a week long trip. We liked that you can order either a tasting menu or a la carte, giving you the choice. We had the tasting menu, which included a lot of ingredients and combinations we would have never ordered or chosen to put together (crayfish and nettle; squid and duck livers, etc) - but all was very tasty and the presentation was beautiful. There was a decent chance it could have been just a pompous trying too hard type of meal - but glad to say the cooking was great and we got to experience both a very unusual and tasty meal. They have a decent wine list, and offer several pairing options for the tasting menu as well including a non-alcoholic one. They also leave a small paper version of the menu propped on your table to follow along while eating (our server's descriptions were great as well, and we thought the service was attentive but not over the top. Price for a michelin starred restaurant was reasonable - we had a much more mediocre meal in Prague at similar prices at one of the touristy restaurants.

Field deserves its Michelin star and we had a lovely afternoon here ! The young chef needs to be complemented on the perfect use of textures and colours to make a lovely meal that let the ingredients speak up but added the bit if a glamorous touch that made the meal more special ! We loved the foie gras and the heifer and kohlrabi most amongst what we had ! The wine choices were good ! Highly recommended !

Hidden away in a quiet little street in the Old Town, Field is a modern and stylish take on Czech gastronomy. We took the ten course tasting menu with the wine accompaniment and we were in for a feast for the senses. The use of dry ice makes the dishes an almost theatrical experience. It was also enjoyable to be able to relax and use our fingers for some of the dishes.
While the quality and presentation of the food were outstanding, they were not matched by the service delivered. We ordered cocktails and the amuses bouches were served while the cocktails we ordered were not ready. They were delicious and worth the wait but we thought synchronisation was poor and the response received from the server did not match our expectations. While three of the waiters were friendly, courteous and relaxed, our main waiter was far too formal and rattled off the description of the food far too quickly. I note that several people have commented on the service and suspect it's down to this one waiter. Please have a word with him. Otherwise this was one of our best ever restaurant experiences.
