Found this on google whilst searching for a restaurant with a view. The menu looked interesting and the reviews seemed positive. Having been for a traditional meal the previous night and enjoyed it, we were almost tempted to do the same but kept the booking anyway.
When we arrived there was no record although I had clear confirmation from OpenTable. I had even modified the booking earlier that day to a slightly later time. Fortunately they had a table albeit no record of my window table request and as such no availability. That said, it was pretty foggy outside so it wouldn't have been much of a view. The staff found us a nice table anyway.
The restaurant is pretty modern, the decor, the staff dress and the menu. It's found at the top of the ballroom on the 7th floor with lovely views fog aside!
Each course we sampled was excellent, we tried the beef tartare with bernaise ice cream and the ham hock for starters, they had great flavours. For mains we both went for the burger. I still feel somewhat guilty for ordering a burger in a place like this but thought, if it's only this style of menu, it has to be something special. I don't regret it, I think it was the best burger I can remember....
For dessert it was a trio of creme brulees and the brownie, both amazing.
Even the wine, a Czech wine was fabulous.
Overall lovely food, relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff and not at all pretentious.
