Our primary goal for our stay in Prague was the National Technical Museum - and that is just down the road from the apartment. But if you want to go to the old city center, also not an issue - either a 15-20 minute walk (if you are not afraid of a bit up-and-down-hill walking that is!) or you can use the tram.
The apartment itself is located on the ground floor of a backyard building. Which gives you an enclosed place to park your car if you got one. Also takes you away from the streets in case you want the windows open during the night.
There are two bedrooms, one combined with a kitchen-place. Fridge, stove, coffee maker - it is all there. The second room has a large double bed (like the first one) and one small bed - additional space needed, there is also a sofa to sleep on. TV (Satellite) is available, also WLAN and a PC with internet connection. Don't expect too much in terms of speed but you can get to your mail and google the surroundings.
All in all, the place is good for those that want to be close to the city but not directly downtown. It was well equipped and very clean - great job! And the landlord is extremely quick, friendly and speaks English very well (for us that cannot speak Czech).
