“Missing amenities”

Beautiful walk right in the city. Not usual for large cities. However, only one caffee with poor offer of snacks, not enough seqating. bring your own refreshments with you.

“Nice tower and park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2012

Petrin tower (smaller Eiffel tower), Petrin hill is nice, nice view, next to Petrin tower is mirror labyrinth. I recommend visit this hill in spring, is called "hill of love". You can use cableway (ticket is the same like for public traffic)

“Lovely and romantic.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2012

If you own the valid ticket for public transport, you can use this ticket to get up the hill.
There is railway that goes up and down the hill.
But in summer, better go thru the park, it is nice walk.
The shops in the park are overpriced, we had only one small ice cream together, it was expensive and awful. Blah.:-(
On the tower, you must beat the stairs, no elevator here. But definitely worth it.
Beautiful views and romantic atmosphere.

“Beautiful view over Vltava's turn and Old Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 February 2012

The walk up the hill is highly recommended if you want to skip the queue to the lift. In the spring, the entire hill is covered in white-blooming fruit trees, through which you can admire Prazsky Hrad and just lie down and watch the city below you. After the walk, you can have a snack in one of the bars in the middle of the way or on top of the hill. A further walk to the Strahovsky Klaster abbey will give you more breathtaking views and will further lead you to Hradcany borough. Great viewpoint!

“Not for the lazy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

Well worth a visit especially if you like walking, at a slow walk it will take around a hour to get to the top but it is well worth it for the views, for the less adventurous you can take the cable car to the top and down again. The facilities at the top are closed out of season so no cafe or toilets are available.
