Long queu leading to the door, it takes some time before its your turn... impressive yes, but I would not call it a must in Prague.

We purchased the B tour ticked and this was the first place we went into. Should have saved it for last, because after this the other attractions didn't feel like much. The architecture and the size of the place was just breathtaking.

I noticed some other Tripadvisor tips that you should go here immediately after it opens to avoid the crowds, and indeed it was packed during the day. Also apparently was an opportunity to climb to a tower? If we had known about it, we would definitely have went, so don't miss that either!

We arrived at the cathedral around 9:15am and found that it opened it's doors this day at 9:30am, so we purchased tickets that allowed us to go beyond the entrance to get a closer look at the rest of this beautiful church. The cost was approximately 2 Euros per person, and we felt it was well worth the nominal cost. The stained glass was, as you would expect from a large European cathedral, stunning. Our children, 11 and 12, also found it quite beautiful and worth the visit.
We were happy to have been one of the first in line because as with many attractions once the crowds got large people would push through, etc. Waiting in line for the 15 min allowed us to visit this beautiful venue with relative peace and a bit of reverence that is lost somewhat once the crowds swell.

We purchased a ticket for the St. Vitus Catherdral that included access to the museum and some other areas. As soon as you get through security, and go through the arches, you see the cathedral. It is stunning and makes for a great picture.

Took us about 10 to 15 minutes to get into the Cathedral, please ensure you purchase a ticket, some people got into a line and were told to go purchase a ticket.

The inside of the Cathedral is so peaceful, so much history, so much architecture..was a very blessed feeling to spend time here.

Located inside the Presidential Palace complex, the St. Vitus Cathedral has unique interior designs and architectural sculptures. If you want to go inside, it is free. But, if you want to go more, you need to pay 250czk per person and then you can go more deeper into the Cathedral. 250czk is for many places (Golden Lane, Museums and the Old Castle).

Please do remind that there will be security check before you go inside the complex since it’s a Presidential Palace.
